From a recent "Surfrider" News Report: Tybee Island, Georgia is a barrier island about 18 miles east of Savannah.

Feeling a little grimy from last weekend's litter-strewn beach trip? Well, CNN just released a report from Health Magazine of its list of "America's Top Ten Healthiest Lake and Beach Getaways." They teamed up with a panel of travel and health experts to rank each spot by factors such as air and water quality, abundance of parks, and hotel room costs.
